Buyers will benefit from a standard extended-range battery (EPA estimated at 320 miles of range) and a 15.5-inch touchscreen infotainment screen tethered to an 8-speaker, subwoofer-backed sound system courtesy of B&O. Other features include a wireless charging pad, a power tailgate with the tailgate step and work surface, and a Tow Technology Package. A heat pump has been outfitted in order to better optimize energy consumption, and Ford’s hands-free driving software, BlueCruise, is available with a 1.2 update.

Version 1.2 includes hands-free lane changing (well, you have to tap the turn signal once, but the rest is “look mom– no hands!”), plus In-Lane Reposition, allowing the vehicle to shuffle away from vehicles in other lanes all while staying within its own lines. Buyers will enjoy 90 days of BlueCruise for free before needing to subscribe; however, customers will have a flexible option to subscribe at any point during vehicle ownership, be it an annual or monthly re-up.

Online orders for the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash open up early 2024.
