Ford Bronco Free Wheeling Package is another Throwback Option
October 11, 2024You may be familiar with Ford’s Free Wheeling name already– if not for the ’70s and ’80s callback, the identically-named treatment already available for the Bronco Sport. This retro-inspired package has now made its way to the 2025 Bronco, bringing with it a splash of color and even more nostalgia.
Like the package seen on the “baby Bronco” compact utility, the Bronco’s Free Wheeling package is based on the Big Bend trim, the current entry-level grade of this factory-ready overlander, adding reflective red, orange and yellow graphics onto the sides of the vehicle, joined by body-color door handles, a silver grille with red “Bronco” lettering, and unique wheels. They’re 17 inches in diameter, finished in gloss black; Sasquatch-equipped variants receive similar sized wheels with a machined lip and red pockets.
A blend of marine-grade vinyl and fabric upholsters the cabin; the seat inserts match the exterior graphics, while red accents adorn the grab handles and various design elements. A soft top comes standard, while the hardtop, either molded-in-color or the new painted black option, can be equipped.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling package will be available starting January 2025, with pricing to be confirmed closer to that time. If the idea of open-air commuting with “80’s on 8” blasting from the speakers is heavily influencing your next new vehicle purchase, this might just be your best bet.
