In grade school, we all heard the rumor that astronauts were able to see the Great Wall of China from space. According to NASA, it is “difficult or impossible to see from Earth orbit” without high-powered lenses. Back on Earth, recent spy photos taken with much less powerful optics have spotted changes to the C8 Corvette’s own Great Wall, and Chevrolet has officially confirmed it.

The 2026 Corvette sees a modest interior update for all models, among those changes being the removal of that wall of buttons separating the driver and passenger.

The new center console and stack features a row of physical buttons underneath a larger 12.7-inch infotainment screen, still driver-centric in orientation. Beneath that row is a familiar column of switchgear, with the drive mode dial now in line with the gear buttons. A new wireless charging pad is to the right of that; and further right, where the Great Wall once was, is a passenger grab handle and a USB-C port. The Corvette crazy will have already taken note of the new cupholders, redesigned with hand-wrapped inserts and ambient lighting.

Back to the screens, the infotainment screen is paired with a 14-inch digital gauge cluster; and to the left of the wheel, a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen. This smaller display is configurable for various functions, from something as simple as trip mileage to something more exciting like traction management. Different graphics for Tour, Sport and Track, and an improved Performance Data Recorder interface, round out the updates on the digital front.

Four new interior color options join the fray, including a new Asymmetrical Adrenaline Red option. Their first asymmetric interior layout, the driver’s Competition seat, among other surfaces on that side, are finished in the titular red, while the passenger GT2 seat and side are wrapped in black. An Ultimate Suede package will cover nearly all cabin surfaces in said material. With a new electrochromic roof, the tinting of the targa glass can be adjusted at the touch of a button.

There are a few small performance changes, too. Performance Traction Management Pro can be activated to disable electronic stability control and traction control while ABS stays on, as well as specific front axle systems on the E-Ray. The ZR1 ZTK performance package will come with 10-piston front calipers, six-piston rears, and carbon ceramic discs, all of which set the record for largest fit to a production ‘Vette.

Exterior changes are minimal. There’s a new asymmetrical stripe option, body color rocker panels for the E-Ray (standard) and Z06 (available), and blue brake calipers for the duo. We previously reported on the two new paints joining the lineup, Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic, confirmed for all models.

Pricing and availability of all models and options will be confirmed closer to launch.
