There are plenty of objective facts we could rattle off regarding the current-generation C8 Corvette. For example, 2026 sees two new colors, Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic.

What’s subjective is whether you like them or not; and while we all have our preferences here (including one senior staffer with a strong preference for blue), we have to agree that these colors, the green in particular, are stunning.

Of course, what we’re seeing is a computerized rendering of each, so their actual vibrancy and reaction to natural light can’t be truly appreciated (or dismissed) quite yet. It’s also unclear how much these colors will cost, though we can assume they’ll command some sort of optional charge. Currently, Rapid Blue adds an additional $500 to the sticker, while Sebring Orange and Sea Wolf Gray, among others, tack on an extra $995. Though if you’re spending even just the entry-level $70,000 or so for a ‘Vette, an extra grand probably isn’t much of a debate.

It’s also unclear whether these colors will be available on all or reserved for certain trims, but we can infer they’ll be offered on the upcoming ZR1. When this new ZR1 makes it our way in green, silver, blue or any other pigment, we’ll be more than happy to give it a full MotorWeek Track Test.
