2025 Kia Sportage Starts Under $30K; Pricing Detailed

It’s no surprise the compact Kia Sportage is returning for the 2025 model year; however, what is a surprise, and a welcomed one at that, is a starting price of $28,565 with delivery, unchanged from the previous model year.

That cost of entry is for a base Sportage LX equipped with front-wheel drive. For an additional $1,800, the LX can be had with all-wheel drive, again unchanged from the ‘24 model. Even better still, the LX Hybrid (HEV) is also unchanged, starting at $29,965; though, the X-Line PHEV, the more affordable of the two available plug-in hybrid models, has seen a slight increase of $100, now starting at $41,065.

Kia is offering a variety of trims for the ‘25 model, with a total of 16 trims. Some notable trims include the aforementioned X-Line, also available as an ICE model. The X-Line ICE, starting at $33,465, mixes things up a little bit with a gloss black front and rear bumper finish and gloss black alloy wheels, lightly dipping into the X-Pro’s adventurous styling and backed by a standard all-wheel drive system with a center locking differential.The X-Pro takes it a step further with all-terrain tires mounted on 17-inch wheels and a few more features, starting at $37,665. The X-Pro Prestige builds off of that with more premium amenities, thus charging a higher premium at $39,465. All of these “X” model prices represent a small increase of $100 when compared to the ‘24 model.

At the summit remains the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) X-Line Prestige, starting at $45,565, another $100 increase. All things considered, the 2025 Sportage and its various trims spread across three powertrain options encompasses a healthy range of budgets for to-be buyers.
