The plus side to this news, arriving alongside minor changes for 2025, is that a manual Wrangler can still be had, even if the ability to do so is more limited. Those interested in the Pentastar V6 can now only have it served with the manual, however, as the eight-speed automatic is reserved for other setups. For the record, the 3.6-liter six-cylinder still puts out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque; a few extra ponies over the 2.0-liter turbo-four’s 270 HP, but a little less twist than its sibling’s 295 lb-ft. The 4xe powertrain is also up for grabs, consisting of a 2.0-liter turbo-four paired with an engine-mounted motor-generator and an eight-speed auto, rated at a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque with the added benefit of 21 miles of pure-electric driving.

Other changes for 2025 are minor, consisting of model-standard power locks and power windows, available “Active Cabin Ventilation” giving mobile app users the ability to pre-ventilate the cabin prior to entry, and a new “‘41” exterior color, leaning into Jeep’s military heritage.
