The Acura RDX is getting a facelift for 2025, and with it comes new wheel options, new paint colors, and small revisions to the interior design and tech.

Like most refreshes, it starts with the exterior. Leading the RDX is a new Diamond Pentagon grille, frameless and with a new mesh design. All RDX trims ride on new wheels, standard 19-inchers finished in Berlina Black, joined by plenty of gloss-black trim. The Advance Package distinguishes itself with body-colored lower trim and unique multi-spoke, machine-finished wheels.

Buyers looking for an even sportier RDX may gravitate towards A-Spec models, setting themselves apart with, you guessed it, even more black trim. The wheels are upped to a new 20-inch design; those dubs are finished in black with the Advance Package equipped, and without it, Shark Gray. And on the topic of finishes, three new colors join the RDX lineup: Canyon River Blue Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl and, all-new of Acura, Solar SIlver Metallic.

Hopping inside, the center console has been redesigned for greater storage, bigger cup holders, and better access to the wireless phone charger. The 10.2-inch infotainment display now has a widescreen mode for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-of-the-line RDX trims (those with the Advance Package) now have full-leather upholstery and ambient lighting to lighten up the mood on the new center console.

The same as last year’s model, tucked under the hood is a Turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC four-cylinder producing 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, delivered through a sport-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission to the all-wheel drive system. Dubbed Acura’s “Super Handling All-Wheel Drive,” this system is rear-biased by design, capable of sending up to 70% of torque to the rear and up to 100% of that to the outside wheel.

Assembled at Acura’s East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, the 2025 RDX is set to arrive at dealers later this month nationwide with a “TBD” starting price.
