By the looks of things, the second-generation Kia Niro is staying the course as an affordable subcompact hybrid utility as it enters the new model year.

While pricing for the plug-in hybrid and all-electric Niro is yet to be announced, we’ve recently learned that the 2024 Kia Niro Hybrid will start at $28,165. That price includes the $1,325 destination charge, and will net consumers a base-level LX grade.

This is a relatively small bump in price over the 2023 model, which started at $27,915 with the same destination charge. The 2024 is essentially the same, as the only meaningful change is a dual-level cargo floor being added to all four trims above the aforementioned LX. Anyone looking to score a Niro finished in the Fire Orange Metallic paint will need to find a leftover or preowned model, as this color has been dropped.

Buyers will still be able to purchase an EX, EX Touring, SX or SX Touring. They price out accordingly:

Trim, 2024 Kia Niro MSRP + Destination ($1,325)
LX $26,840 $28,165
EX $29,540 $30,865
EX Touring $31,840 $33,165
SX $32,940 $34,265
SX Touring $35,240 $36,565

Beyond that, you can expect much of the same as last year. Considering how much we enjoyed our 2023 tester, there are zero complaints from us.
