When it comes time to buy a car, there are a lot of things that most people don’t think about that they really should. And those are some of the things that are required to do, the normal repairs and maintenance on a car. You see, there’s all sorts of things that you have to do on a regular basis. And on some cars they are very easy and on some cars they are very difficult. The more difficult, well that means that if you don’t do it yourself or if you're going to have to spend a lot of time doing it, or if you're going to pay someone to do it, you're going to have to pay a lot of money.

Alright, now, in that vein, cabin air filters, which are very a tune to keeping bad pollution and such out of the cars these days. So, this is something that should be checked every 6 months because cabin air filters can get very dirty really quickly depending on where and how you drive. Now, we have two here that you can see this one is really contaminated. What happened here is that rodents got in here and they built a nest. Well that could be very dangerous. Here we have one out of a certified used car that should have been replaced, but wasn’t. Now, we have no idea what we have living in there. And some of these things can actually be harmful to your health. Alright, now, here is what we should be seeing.

Now the big thing is, like this car behind me, now it’s going to take a maximum of 4 minutes to change the cabin air filter so it’s no big deal. But there are some cars out there that take one to two hours to change the cabin air filter. So if you have to pay for it, you’re going to have to pay through the nose on those cars. Though something you might want to consider before you buy that car. Lots of cars that are very similar the way that they perform, the fuel economy, and so on. So you have lots of choices. But the big thing is, to protect your health; change the cabin air filter. Or at least check it every six months, change it as needed. And you’ll have a healthy environment inside the car.
