With the Ford Ranger pick-up due to return in 2019, it looks like there’s something even more rugged on the way.

Tempers flared as our spy photographer got these shots on the mid-size Ranger. Equipped with over-sizes all-terrain tires. Already being called the Ranger-Raptor, with its wider fenders, off-road shocks, and higher ride, it looks to follow in the tread of its bold F-150 brother. But underneath it an even more closely guarded secret.

This is the first time our photographer has seen chassis camouflage. This mule also has a diesel engine. So until it’s official, I guess we’ll all be watching for more hints about Ford’s new bird of prey.
