Refreshed Lexus UX Revealed; Only Offered as Hybrid in US
Lexus has pulled the curtains on their refreshed 2023 UXh SUVs, packing new technology and modified looks across various trims. Along with the model updates, Lexus has confirmed the UX to only be available as a hybrid in the United States, said to further align with the brand’s future electrification goals. This move will help the automaker expand upon their hybrid electric vehicle portfolio.
The new UXh comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5. This suite offers drivers such functions as Pre-Collision warning and Emergency Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and more. Other tech-upgrades include a new infotainment interface and touchscreen, contained by an updated interior layout. Smartphone integration, an Intelligent Assistant suite, and Wi-Fi Connect services help round out the UXh’s tech. Performance-oriented folks may be more inclined towards the F SPORT trim; for 2023, the UX 250h F SPORT has been enhanced by bespoke wheels, grille design, and various other accents. Standard rain sensing wipers, fog and cornering lamps, and automatic headlamp leveling are also included. On the performance front, Active Variable Suspension helps stabilize the vehicle through bumps, braking, and cornering. The refreshed 2023 Lexus UXh will be on sale late summer 2022.
