More Boost, More Power – We Drive the 2018 Porsche 911 GTS (VIDEO)
This just in from Lake Tahoe, California. The 2018 Porsche 911 GTS offers more performance, sharper lines, and a distinctive sound. The GTS is available in 5 variants: The 911 Carrera GTs with rear-wheel-drive, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with all-wheel-drive (both as Coupe and Cabriolet), and the 911 Targa 4 GTS.
Thanks to newly designed larger twin turbos with 18 psi of boost, the 3.0 liter flat six is up to 450 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, designed to hit hard in the 2,150 to 5,000 RPM range.
Power smiles through either a standard seven speed manual, or an optional PDK transmission. Sport exhaust is also standard.
Pricing starts at $121,700. Our Guards Red 2018 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS priced out just north of $154,000.
