Ford has some big truck news to share this week according to the brand’s recent activity on Twitter. Their latest tweet shared a cryptic video showing multiple renderings of a very boxy, short-wheelbase pickup that, to us, suggests a Bronco variant.
North American Product Communications Manager, Mike Levine has also sent out a flurry of tweets saying the new truck “will meet a huge unmet need” and “if you like small trucks, you won’t be disappointed.”
Spy photos have already surfaced of a car-based small pickup being tested in Europe that likely will share it's unibody chassis with the next Focus compact car lineup. This could also be a pickup variant of the so called "Mini-Bronco" that has already been confirmed, prehaps even wearing the Courier name that dates back to the 1952. The Courier was also car-based. We’ll be undating this posting as more details are available.
