2023 Toyota Supra Pricing Announced; Manual a No-Cost Option
In a pricing guide released by Toyota, we’ve learned that the upcoming 2023 Supra will offer the highly anticipated manual transmission as a no-cost option. The new manual transmission can be equipped on both the 3.0 Base and 3.0 Premium models, retailing for $53,595 and $56,745 respectively-- a $610 MSRP increase over 2022’s models. These new prices are the same for those units equipped with the automatic and include Toyota’s $1,095 destination charge for passenger cars, a bump from 2022’s $1,025.
There is another version the MT can be mounted to, the special edition GR Supra 3.0 A91-MT, which will retail for $59,440 with the aforementioned fees attached. It should be noted that the entry-level GR Supra, the 2.0, will not be offered with the six-speed. While this is a little unfortunate, we’re happy to see a manual transmission available at all in the new Supra. Plus, in our 2021 Road Test, we still found the 8-speed automatic to be a potent and enjoyable offering. In fact, we enjoyed the revived Supra so much that it took the gold for Best Sport Coupe in our annual MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards for two years in a row. And even when it was finally ousted this year, first place still ended up (partially) in Gazoo Racing’s hands thanks to the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ.
